  • your name, email address, phone number and mailing address
  • the names and ages of the individuals in your party
  • your payment information, processed through our payment providers
  • your travel itinerary, pickup and drop-off locations, and any special requests

  • information about your use of our website, including your IP address, browser type and device information

We may also collect information from third parties, such as travel agents, booking agents, accommodation providers and booking platforms.

2. SENSITIVE INFORMATION

Some of the information described above is sensitive information under the Privacy Act 2020 — for example, health-related information such as dietary requirements, mobility needs or relevant medical conditions, and information about children. We only collect sensitive information that is reasonably necessary to plan and safely deliver your booking, such as arranging a suitable child restraint for a transfer or catering to a disclosed dietary or medical need. We do not use sensitive information for any other purpose without your consent, and we take extra care in how this information is stored and who can access it.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

  • comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations

We may also use your information to send you marketing communications about our Services and offers. You can opt out of these at any time.

4. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We may disclose your personal information to:

  • our payment processors and other service providers who help us deliver a booking
  • the skippers, crew, drivers, guides and other personnel engaged to deliver your Service
  • third-party suppliers, including vehicle and transfer partners, tour operators, accommodation providers, cruise lines and airlines, where relevant to coordinate your booking
  • government authorities, where required by law
  • other third parties, where we believe it necessary to protect our rights or the rights of others

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

5. OVERSEAS DISCLOSURE

Some of our service providers, such as payment processors or cloud-based booking and storage tools, may hold or process personal information outside New Zealand. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information receives a comparable standard of protection to that required under the Privacy Act 2020.

6. HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

We take appropriate measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, use or disclosure, using industry-standard security protocols and encryption. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

7. RETENTION

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law, including tax and accounting record-keeping obligations.
