Working with Silver Wave
As part of the Silver Wave team, you’ll help deliver memorable experiences for guests from New Zealand and around the world, whether aboard one of our vessels, exploring Northland by road, or creating a bespoke private experience.
We’re looking for professional, personable and dependable people who take pride in providing outstanding service. A strong knowledge of the Bay of Islands and Northland, an eye for detail, and the ability to make guests feel genuinely welcomed are all highly valued.
What We Look For
Requirements vary depending on the position.
Skippers must hold the appropriate Maritime New Zealand certification for the vessel and operation, along with a current seafarer medical certificate and any other required endorsements or qualifications.
For chefs, drivers, guides and marine crew, relevant experience and qualifications are advantageous. Depending on the role, appropriate driver licensing, passenger endorsements or other certifications may also be required.
Above all, we value people with a positive attitude, excellent presentation and communication skills, sound judgement, and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
